Well, at OpenTalent we believe that smart people - with the right domain expertise and when given the right tools - are best at recommending other people for jobs. Way better than intermediaries like recruitment agencies. For example, when we look to hire a new front-ender, ideally someone in our development teams knows someone and recommends that person to us.
In order to unlock referral-based growth across the OpenTalent platform we recently introduced a feature that enables community members to earn money by inviting potential candidates to jobs posted on the platform and helping clients find their right match. The bonus schemes are explained in detail in the next section -
OpenTalent aspires to be Europe’s best talent-centric recruitment platform and to achieve this we have introduced a referral scheme for OpenTalent community members. The idea of providing this scheme is to encourage our community members to invite potential candidates to the platform and help companies get awesome candidates at light speed. Below are the two main referral bonus schemes for community members -
The referral bonus scheme for community members of OpenTalent is a great opportunity for members to earn extra money by referring talented candidates to the platform. By referring a candidate who is subsequently hired by a client, community members can earn a fixed referral bonus of €1,000. A free member (visitor) can invite up to 5 people, whereas a full member (paid) can invite up to 10 people. The number of invites for the full members can also be increased on request based on a member’s previous invite history. This means that there is the potential for unlimited earning potential through the referral scheme, making it a great way for community members to monetize their networks and help companies find the best talent.
Note: The referral bonus scheme is applicable only for the direct jobs posted on OpenTalent for our exclusive customers.
Through the scheme, we are trying to provide an excellent opportunity for community members to earn money by introducing potential clients to OpenTalent. If a community member successfully refers a company to OpenTalent, and the company becomes a client, the community member will earn 10% of the first-year revenue earned from that client. For example, if OpenTalent earns €100,000 in revenue from a company referred by a community member, the member would earn €10,000 as a referral bonus. Sounds awesome, right?
