A proper resume can uplift your profile to the next level. But you don’t have decent CV format? Worry not. LinkedIn offers its users the ability to download a resume version of their LinkedIn profile. And yes, it actually provides a decent quality resume.

Below we learn how to download a CV from your LinkedIn profile both on a web browser and on the LinkedIn mobile app.

Download CV from a web browser

Step 1: Go to **https://www.linkedin.com** and log in with your username and password.

Step 2: Click the “Me” icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage and click on the View Profile

Step 4: Select “Save to PDF” from the dropdown menu to download a PDF version of your resume. A pop up or download dialogue of some kind will appear on the lower part of your screen depending on your browser and operating system. Click on that pop up or go to your “Downloads” folder to open the document.

Note: If you don’t see a pop up and nothing is downloaded, make sure pop ups are not blocked in your browser settings.

Download CV from the LinkedIn Mobile App

Currently, LinkedIn Mobile App doesn’t allow users to download a resume version of their profile. However, in order to download the resume from your smart phone you need to open LinkedIn in your mobile browser and follow the steps as described above for the web browsers.
