We launched OpenTalent in 2021 with the goal to create a thriving community of Europe's top talent. Our goal was to enable companies to connect directly with this talent pool, thereby enabling them to bypass recruiter fees. Essentially, we wanted to do D2C for Talent Acquisition.
Since our inception, we have been building a robust platform and community to bring companies and talent together. In 2022, we conducted interviews with over 150 in-house recruiters to gain insights into their hiring processes and needs. Our findings revealed that Direct Sourcing was the #1 preferred channel for finding talent, and recruiters predicted a +50% growth in its use from 2022 to 2023.
